Being part of a church is more than just one hour on a given Sunday.
Historic St. George’s is a warm, open, caring and compassionate community of people from throughout the Philadelphia area who enjoy spending time together in ways that build each other up.
Wherever you find yourself along the journey of faith, we invite you to join us in any of the events and experiences offered at Historic St. George’s. Here are some ways to get connected to the life and work of the church (check Events calendar for time and location).
- Sunday Worship
- Coffee and Conversation after services
- Interfaith Study Group every Wednesday evening
- Grace Cafe: join us one Sunday each month preparing and serving dinner for homeless guests at Arch St. UMC
- Philaberry: our annual Arts & Music Festival in June
- Animal Blessing: In October, rejoicing in the companionship offered by our pets
- Museum Volunteers and Tour Guides
- Annual Christmas Musical: provide hospitality and welcome people to the hundreds attending this afternoon of festive holiday music on the first Sunday of December.
Please chat with the pastor or an usher to get more details, or call the office during the week at 215-925-7788. Try out a variety of activities to find the ones that feed your spirit.
