Archives

In addition to the records of St. George's, our archives house many records of closed churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. A collection of ephemera from area churches, such as Anniversary publications and special programs, is also available. Rare items from early Methodism, including a hand-written hymnal of John Wesley's, are archived here. We welcome scholars and researchers and have assisted many historians to locate source material for their projects.

 Library

Our library has over 500 volumes related to early Methodist history. The collection includes volumes of sermons by early preachers and biographies of many church personalities. Researchers may visit the library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week.
